We offer same-day delivery for time-critical shipments, handling everything from palletised goods to heavy machinery. Our point-to-point service ensures your freight is picked up and delivered directly, minimising handling and avoiding delays.
We also provide overnight and weekend delivery options for added convenience. Whether it’s local or select interstate routes, our flexible services ensure your cargo arrives on time. With a reliable fleet and experienced drivers, we’re equipped to handle urgent shipments with the care and efficiency you need.
Our shipping rates are determined by a combination of factors:
-
Weight and Dimensions of the Freight: Heavier or bulkier items increase the base rate.
-
Pallet Count: For Sydney Metro deliveries, the base rate is calculated per pallet. The more pallets or the heavier the load, the higher the base rate.
-
Distance: Longer distances add to the cost, as they increase fuel and travel time.
-
Delivery Speed: Same-day and overnight services are available at a premium.
For Sydney Metro deliveries, we start with a pallet-based base rate, add a distance charge, and apply a fuel levy and GST.
For regional and interstate hauls, we use preset journey rates aligned with industry standards. These rates account for longer distances and include a slightly higher fuel levy along with GST.

Additional Services and Fees:
In specific scenarios, additional fees may apply:
Hand Loading or Unloading: We are fully insured for cargo while it’s in our trucks. However, manually loading or unloading freight without specialised equipment poses a risk to both your goods and our team. To ensure safety, we charge an additional premium for situations requiring our assistance with:
-
Delicate goods that cannot be handled with a pallet jack.
-
Locations without access to a forklift.
-
Items that have not been palletised.
We believe in proactive communication, so if any extra services are required, these will be clearly outlined in your quote.
Demurrage Policy:
We offer a 30-minute grace period for loading or unloading. If delays exceed this, we’ll notify you immediately. If the delay reaches 1 hour, a demurrage fee will apply. Unlike other companies, we aim to keep you informed and avoid surprise charges.
Our goal is to provide a smooth, efficient service while ensuring the safe handling of your freight.
-
For interstate freight, we ensure all required documentation is properly prepared and submitted. While we don’t specialise in international shipping, we do assist with Freight All Kinds (FAK) imports and exports. If you’re shipping internationally, we can provide guidance on customs requirements and connect you with trusted customs agents to ensure a smooth process.
If you encounter any issues with your delivery, our team is here to help. You can reach us directly at 0438 990 388 or email info@inhtransport.com.au. Whether it’s a delay, a concern about your shipment, or a query about your delivery status, we’ll work quickly to resolve the issue.
Our commitment to clear communication means you’ll always have a direct line to our team, ensuring any problems are addressed promptly and professionally.
