Click + Add Pallet to create one or more pallet types.

Enter the pallet’s Length, Width, Height, and Quantity.

Each group is colour-coded in the visual layout.

This draws a top-down 2D layout of your truck’s usable floor space.

Each pallet group appears as a coloured block with size labels.

Review Remaining Space

Below the layout, you’ll see any leftover space (m²).

If pallets don’t all fit, the calculator will let you know how many were placed.

Adjust or Rotate Pallets

To rotate a pallet’s orientation, swap its length and width inputs.

Re‑generate the layout to see changes.

Screenshot & Save

Right-click or use your device to save the canvas as a quick reference for loading teams.

The story of inh transport

Mark’s path to founding INH Transport didn’t begin with a business plan, it began on the side of the road, wrench in hand. As a diesel mechanic, he spent years under some of Australia’s heaviest rigs, often in the worst conditions. One night on the Great Ocean Road, lying soaked beneath a bogged semi, he overheard a passing remark: “Glad I’m not in your shoes.” It hit different. Mark wasn’t afraid of hard work but he was ready to take control of the journey, not just fix it after things went wrong.

What followed was a shift from servicing trucks to running them. With a background in competitive racing at Sydney Motorsport Park and a global top‑10 Tetris ranking (seriously), Mark brought speed, foresight and a freakish eye for loading. INH Transport now handles everything from fragile AV freight to heavy machinery and exhibition logistics, trusted by production teams, national brands, and last‑minute clients who just need it done right. Today, the company runs some of the cleanest, best‑equipped trucks on Sydney roads, built with mechanical understanding, driven with pride.

With INH Transport, transparency is key. We offer fixed pricing with no room for hidden fees, last-minute charges, or surprise demurrage. Many transport companies pass on costs for delays, weather-related incidents, or operational inefficiencies, but we don’t believe in charging for what’s outside your control. You can trust that the price you’re quoted is the price you’ll pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a pallet calculator?

A pallet calculator is a tool that helps transport planners and warehouse managers calculate how many pallets will fit inside a truck based on its dimensions.

How do I use a pallet freight calculator in Australia?

Enter your truck's internal dimensions, add your pallet sizes and quantities, and click generate. This visual layout tool instantly shows you how many pallets fit and how much space is left.

Does this support Australian pallet dimensions like 1165 × 1165 mm?

Yes. Enter 1.165 as both the length and width to model a standard Australian pallet. You can also enter custom sizes for Euro or CHEP pallets.

Can I use this to calculate pallet positions on a semi trailer?

Yes. Just enter the internal dimensions of your semi-trailer (e.g. 13.2 × 2.5 × 2.7 m), and the calculator will visualise the pallet layout on the trailer floor.

Does this work for calculating pallet freight costs?

This tool helps with pallet space planning, not pricing. To get a freight quote based on your pallet sizes, contact INH Transport directly.

Can this tool account for stacking or weight limits?

No. This is a visual-only calculator for horizontal layout planning. It does not account for stacked pallets, weight restrictions, or axle load limits.

Is this pallet layout calculator free to use?

Yes. The INH Transport pallet calculator is a free online tool designed to assist Australian businesses with freight and transport planning.
